Hey, this is my first time posting so I hope it goes well.

    I'm running on an:
    Acer Aspire 5738
    Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 2.20GHz Processor
    4GB RAM
    Windows 7 64-bit OS

I searched for a solution to my problem on here and followed the instructions and it didn't work, so here I am.
    I tried:
    - Uninstalling Java altogether and downloading it again after restarting.
    - Scouring my computer for other Java files, again no luck.
    - Downloading using the 'Offline Installer'.

And STILL I get the error403 about a firewall.

I also get a message about a corrupted file.

    Can anyone help?

Yeah, I've been there and seen that, tried it and as I said, the offline installer didn't work either. :\

The reason the Offline installer isn't an option, is because the version of java it gives me doesn't appear to work. Perhaps to do with the fact that it's 32-bit? I don't know, but I hope someone does!

Edit - This particular version of Java gives me the Classnotfound exception.

Having searched the internet for a solution to the Classnotfoundexception problem, I've tried most like re-downloading without firewalls, re-installing without firewalls etc. and still no joy. Surely someone must be able to help?
