Problem finding "FireDaemon.EXE" on my computer

    Hey
    I have a problem maybe someone could please help
    Every time i open my PC, and while i use it an erorr tells me that "FireDaemon.EXE" has made some ileagall stuff and will be closed .
    the problem is i didnt install that program and cant find out where it is so i can delete it ....
    please help ...
    I would really appreciate the help.

    sounds like it's a trojan, a hacker's program, that was pretty pervasive a year or so ago.

    get spybot and adaware, run them both. one or the other will catch it and get rid of it.

    adaware: http://www.lavasoft.de/support/download/

    i recommend running both programs, as they each catch what the other doesn't. also, if you have firedaemon, you'll prolly have other things that need to be cleaned out, like dialers. :)
