Not sure if this goes in this forum and I couldn't find what I was looking for through the search tool so hopefully someone can help.

I use Outlook 2003 with Word 2003 as the e-mail editor. When I compose a new message it is automatically displayed with large spaces between each line of text. When I checked the paragraph format option I find the line spacing is set to "Auto". I can change it so the new message is using regular line spacing but as soon as I try to compose a new message I'm right back in the same boat.

I checked the MS Word 2003 options and the paragraph spacing is set to 0, so there is regular spacing between lines. Consequently, when composing a letter in Word 2003 I don't have any problems. It's only when I try to compose a new message in Outlook.

How do I fix this problem? Thanks!
