    Windows 7 Home Premium.

I have been trying to install iTunes for two weeks now and have tried many things but so far without success.
When I try to install iTunes all goes well until the final stage where it is altering Registry keys. The program then stops and informs me that I don't have sufficient permission to do this.
I am the owner and Admin of the computer.
I have right clicked and chosen install as Administrator.
I have right clicked and taken ownership of the file.
I have also used an elevated command line to install it.
Some of the keys the program has stopped at I have been able to alter the permissions but some I haven't. I have a very expensive iPod which is almost useless unless I can get iTunes installed.
