i am trying to install a u.s. robotics 56k modem. its the same kind that was already instaled before it went bad. i am getting the message, the device is already installed but it has a problem. the device is not working properly because windows cannot find the file rsmldr.vxd that loads the drivers for the device. the best driver windows found is already installed. the disk labeled winmodem is now required. the disk is provided by your computer manf. the computer is a hp amd k6 2/333 processor with 64 mb of ram. windows 98. any help would be appreciated.

Try here to get the right driver for your model and install it.
