I am running XP with serv pack2. I am currently using Office 2000 Prof. I purchased Off Prof Plus 2007 and when I start installing after a few files are installed I get a message "setup cannot find Pro Plus ww\ProPlsww.cab. Browse to a valid installation source and then click ok".
I don't know what that means or where to find that file.
I purchased RegCure and cleaned my registry which didn't make a difference.
Yes, I found it with Explorer. It is on the orginal disk. Thanks for that suggestion. However I tried installing the program and telling it to browse that disk. It still didn't recognize that it was there?????
The other thing I would try (if it will let you) is copy all of the files from the CD into a folder on your computer with the same name as the CD label.
(You own a copy of the software so it doesnt breach anything)
Try running it again pointing it in the right direction of needed.
(does it give an indication as to where the .cab file should be, if so move it to where you think it should be after copying the files)
No it doesn't say where to find the file. But I will try copying the files to my computer as you suggest. Thanks
