High i just got a new system:

    amd 64 x2 slot AM2

Im haveing problems loading windows on my old hard drive ultra ata133 into my motherboards ata100 ide connector.

Windows is already installed on the Hard drive, it works in older pc with ultra ata133 ide connector on it, But when i put the hard drive into my new amd 64 pc as soon as windows logo load screen shows it restarts.

I mean i only see the logo for less then a second and i kinda see a flash windows erro blue screen, and then the computer restarts.

i cant figure out what the problem is. i uninstalled some softwair and old drives that i thought may cause problem on new system but :( no success. I figured maybe something i can do in bios some setting i need to change for ide so HD will work correctly. But i have no clue what i would have ot change...

by the way i do have a DVD drive connected to same IDE cable. my hard drive is 2ndary on the ide cable.

im prety sure its not a hardware problem. cause everything seams to work great. just the hard drive has wierd reaction. I was also thinking mabey some kinda drives i may have to put on HD so it clocks at ata100 but acording to info i collected online it dosent seam to be reqiured.

    please help
