I downloaded videos to my hard drive from my Kodak easyshare p850 and then burned them onto a cd rw to give to a friend. After that, each time I tried to play them from my hard drive I get the message "there is no disk in the drive. please insert disk in drive....."
How do I fix this so I don't have to insert the cd to get them to play? Also was wondering how I can get other than quick time to play them.

    Thanks,
    Marianne

I'm going to take a guess that what you have is link to the files on the camera and not the file itself. Right click the file and select properties. If there is a tab labled shortcut you'll probably notice that next to target it points to the file on the camera.

There is no tab labled shortcut. Properties shows the videos to be stored on my hard drive. I downloaded from my camera and then deleted them from the flash card. I then saved a copy to a cd rw. I need to know how to get them to play from my hard drive. I had this happen before and was able to eventually get them to play from hard drive but can't remember what I did.
