    Hi,

I have an HP Laserjet 6L connected via a USB to Paralell cable, machine running Windows 2000. When I try to print Word documents (Word 2000) that have the Albertus Extra Bold font in them, it sometimes prints one way, sometimes another. That's what I use in my letterhead, so this is frustrating - it worked fine on my old PC which ran Windows 98. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Use a different version of the driver. The dirvers usually add a PCL driver and I think the PCL5 driver usually works with everything.

First download the current print driver

Also, check how much RAM your printer has at the moment.

There should be a menu that you can access from your printer and print the configuration sheet. I think the test print on that machine should also indicate what's needed to know. Look at both ways.

If the original drivers and utility are still installed the driver should already be in your printers folder, just set the default printer to a different driver. If they aren't there go to www.hp.com and go to downloads.
