Problem Removing Heatsink plz help

Ok i recently purchased quite a tasty pc from eclipsecomputers (which i wouldnt recommend took nearly 6 weeks after payment to arrive). Once i started looking at things in bios i noticed my cpu idles at like 48-51c which is very high. So i brought myself a brand spanking new Zalman CNPS9500 AM2 cooler with some arctic silver5. I opened up my computer only to discover to my horror that pretty much every component has been glued in with a hot glue gun. Only small blobs but they have idiotically glued my heatsink down. I can only presume this was done as a kind of warrenty. Has ANY1 COME ACCROSS THIS BEFORE? and has tips on removing it? Any help appreciated thanks. Danny

Probably nothing to do with warranty, but rather to prevent things from falling apart in shipment.

You should be able to grab one side and peel the hot glue off, assuming no ICs or other MOBO parts go with it. Can you post a picture of the CPU area?
