First-time poster here. Thanks in advance for any help on this issue!

I like to take pictures with my Droid X, 8 MP camera. After taking the picture, I share it back to my g-mail account. Moments later, I get an e-mail (g-mail) with the picture file attached. I have two options, view or download.

At this point, I want to download the picture to a folder on my computer, where I can save pictures organized by subject, then perhaps share with others later.

When I click on download, and then navigate to the desired folder where I want to save the picture, then click save, the file is instantly downloaded...not even 5 seconds, it's instananeous.

Then, when I go to that folder, I can see the file is there, but when I click to open it, only the top 20% to 30% can be seen...the bottom 70% to 80% is blank.

I tried changing from Windows Photo Viewer to Irfan View, no difference.

Anyone else ever had this problem?

Try the view option and view it in Irfan View and see if you can see the photo. if you can then save it. then go to that folder and see if it shows the photo.

can you post one of the photos that you are having trouble with?
