Problem updating BIOS

    The most current BIOS version appears to be 1804.

    You didn't advise why you're updating the BIOS.

    Unless the update corrects or fixes a problem the computer is having, there's no need to update it.

    If the update goes bad, you can be left with a non-working computer.

    Ive got a problem at the moment, I posted it in the game section of this forum. A few people told me i should try updating bios to see if it helps since mines 0701 version. Including the NVIDIA support.

    I'm not a gamer, so I can't address your issues there.

    Is your computer still working and loading Windows?

    some times other programs stop working like the games but its mostly the games, I was getting blue screens with Bad_Pool_call thingy but they stopped when this crashing problem started

    You may need some "hands on" help by a computer-knowledgeable person.

    It can be difficult or impossible to troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and software issues when we can't see the computer.

    It's also possible you may need to do a clean reinstall of Windows and get a fresh start with it.

    In the meantime, I wouldn't be trying to update the BIOS and have it go bad and leave you with a heavy expensive doorstop.

    I never use the Event Viewer, so your logs mean nothing to me.
