We ran into another problem. The motherboard will not recognize the new processor. We cannot update the drivers from a cd or thru windows itself because it will not even boot from anything. It will just go to the main bootup screen and give us a "unknown processor revision" message. We have tried booting to a dos startup floppy disk, but we'v had no luck.

Sorry but the crystal ball is not working tonight.

Is this because of a BIOS update? Where does the BIOS come into the issue?

Perhaps some history and explanation would help, as the forum rules prohibit mind reading.
