My win 7 started to updating and while i was in school my younger brother turned pc off.
And now it just says "Faliure configuring windows updates.Reverting changes"
It didn't make any progress all the night.
I tried with F8 and system restore but all of my restore points are "damaged or deleted".
I know u will say it's best to do system reset but i don't have BOOTED CD OR USB.
I also tried with safe mode but it doesn't work.
Just saying "Faliure configuring windows updates..."
Please help !

Assuming it's a factory-brand one and not a self-built one, what's the brand name and model name and model number and serial number of your computer?

Which version (Home Premium, Professional, Ultimate, etc.) and bit number (32, 64) of Windows 7 is it running?

I don't know serial number and model number.
The brand name is STEG Electonics.
This is some old computer with awful components.
It's Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.
Btw how do i check serial number and model number?

STEG Electronics appears to be based in Switzerland.
THIS appears to be its website - which is not in English, so I can't read it.

Hi Flavelee, Have you tried viewing the site using Google Chrome? Google Chrome contains a language translator that you can use to read the information on the website and will display our preferred language. The language translator normally appears at the top right corner of your browser and will ask you if you want to translate. Just click translate on the blue translate button and the language on the site will transfer to english.

What browser do you prefer? Maybe there is a setting for your current browser that you can use that will translate the language in readable form.

And for Ahmach1921, It sounds like your updates are corrupted after your brother turned off your computer. I know a few fixes that can help resolve your issue. I had this issue before when I used Windows 7. Please be careful using Windows 7 because it has become obsolete leaving your system vulnerable to security risks. I will wait and see if Flavellee can help you resolve your issue first. If not, I may be able to help solve the issue with the troubleshooting steps I have in mind.

I use only Internet Explorer 11.0.175 and Mozilla Firefox 73.0.1 (most current versions)

I agree Windows 7 got corrupted because of the computer being shut down during the update process.

Flavelle, What operating system are you using? Did you know that Microsoft does have a language pack for Internet explorer 11 and may be available for all Windows OS? The language pack allows you to translate to the language that you prefer on websites.

I'm using Windows 10 Pro Version 1909 Build 18363 64-bit.
I don't install and use language packs because I have no need for them.
It doesn't look like he's going to reply back anyway.

I don't think he is either. I am still watching the thread for a few more days though just to be sure.

Ahmich1921,

I've edited your post for language. Please be more carefuly as this is a family friendly site. Even if the word is starred out by the board's filters it's still not acceptable.
