I am not able to enable hibernate option even though I can see the option in power management when ever i try to tick the option I get error message "power policy manager unable to reserve hibernate file" the process cannot access the file because it is used by another process. The file 'hiberfile.sys' wasn't created yet and isn't on hard disk. Could you anybody help me, please? Thanks Pajax

The hybernate file is hidden, and is not visible unless you set the Windows Explorer options to view system files, so it may well be there.

That's no problem, I am using Total Commander search adn the file hiberfil.sys is not on HDD.

I can't understand why I am not able to enable hibernate options.
