my modem was working couple of months ago, now it doesn't work. On device manager it has that yellow exclamation mark on it

I uninstalled it and, clicked add new hardware. It recognized the internal modem The wizard came up:

What do you want the wizard to do?

    install the software automatically (recommended)
install from a list or specific location (advanced)

I chose default value (automatically) and the following box came up:

The software you are installing for this hardware:

    netodragon 56k fax modem

has not passed windows logo testing to verify its compatibility with windows XP
Continuing your installation of this software may impair or destabilize the correct operation of your system either immediately or in the future. Microsoft strongly recommends that you stop this installation now and contact the hardware vendor for software that has passed windows logo testing
    continue anyway or stop installation

Clicked 'continue anyway' and it said

there was a problem installing this hardware:

    netodragon 56k fax modem

the device cannot start (code 10)

I have win xp, p4 2.8 ghz, 512 ram, can anyone help?

go to the manufacturers website (even if it's just on a friend's computer) donwload the drivers to disk..and use them over whatever windows is finding. An original install disk always works as well
