Problem with my external hard disk

    my 320 gig seagate free agent go has been acting weird over the past few days, its slow when data is loading from it. I did connect it to different pcs to see if my own computer was at fault but its confirmed that the portable behaved weird on all the computers i tested it in. the movies folder is especially very slow, movies lag when i watch it from this portable.

    its verifying file data (stage 4 of 5), it seems to be stuch a 0%

    ok its progressing but its very slow 2% over

    stuck at 2% for more than an hour, discontinued it... whats the next step?

    did it and there was no progress for like 3 hours or so

    Patience, grasshopper.
    Start again, write that novel you've been planning, check the progress.
