    hey all,

I formated my computer 2 weeks ago, and installed windows 7. a week after I installed
nod32 antivirus software it gives me this message: "virus scanner initialization failed. most of the ESET NOD32
antivirus modules will not function properly"

did anyone ever encountered that problem? I am thinking maybe I have a virus on my computer..
I also cant update the program, it says "general compile error".

    thank you for any help..

    Dor

You'll need to uninstall and reinstall the program.

Make sure you're not using a proxy server. In Internet Explorer, click Tools > Internet Options > Connections > Lan settings > Proxy server > uncheck all boxes.

If no luck, try manually updating the virus signature database from the program's interface.

    If still no luck,

Please click HERE to download and install HijackThis.

Run it and select Do a system scan and save a logfile from the Main Menu.

The log will be saved in Notepad. Copy and paste the log in your next post.

    IMPORTANT: Do not fix anything
