hi, i accidentally did something and the taskbar displays a duplicated copy of the current windows that i am viewing.

does anyone know how to get rid of the extra set of windows?

For more people to be able and willing to help you, more specific and detailed information is needed about your PC issue. By duplicate windows on your task bar, do you mean that for every program you have open, there is actually 2 of each running?

hm, i meant to say that in my taskbar.. whenever i open an application, there will be two copies of the application seen in the taskbar. for instance, if i launched one internet explorer, there will be two exact copies of internet explorer in my taskbar..
