Sometimes I enlarge the view size of type in Firefox (Ctrl+++). When I open a new tab, the new tab opens in the same large size.

Is there a way to get Firefox to open new tabs in standard sized type by default?

    Hi Alex,

In your Address bar type about:config and click go.
In the filter line type browser.zoom and find the line browser.zoom.siteSpecific in the list.
Right click it and click Toggle to set it to false.

You'll still be able to enlarge and reduce in the normal way on any tab or window, but it won't carry over to other tabs and windows.

    T. :)

Thanks, that seems to have fixed my problem.
