I hope that I can explain my issue in such a way that it can be understood.

When I get an email and I click "forward" to send it to others, there is always email address where it has been before. When I highlight these old addresses and move my cursor down towards the tool bar/ribbon it would always auto scroll up as I held my cursor there. It doesn't do that now.
People never seem to clear all these old email addresses like I do.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Dave

No, Windows Live Mail still works and as noted elsewhere, using STunnel, I have made it work with Office365.

It might not get updates and you can't install it on another computer, it will work Today on a system it is presently installed on.

OK, can you explain to an old retired farmer how I can solve my issue? :)

Honestly - I can't get a handle on what your problem is. :(
OK, I was expecting that.
Lets see if I can explain my issue better with pictures (screen shots)
In Stage#1 you see the email as it has arrived.
Stage #2 shows (after clicking on "forward") how I highlighted the old email addresses so that I can delete them before forwarding it. I can only highlight as far as the screen shot #2 shows. I used to be able to hold my curser at the bottom and the page would move up automatically and I could highlight right to the bottom then hit "delete" and those old email addresses were gone. Now I can't. I have to highlight as far as shown in #2 then hit delete then manually scroll down and highlight another section then hit delete again as so on. This kinda works OK just a bit frustrating. Thanks: Dave

You aren't highlighting just email addresses. The subject, Time Stamp and Body are also Highlighted.

To Grab an area, you can put the Cursor at the Begin Point. Hold down the "Shift" key and drag the cursor to the End Point and release the "Shift" key. To Highlight everything hit the key sequence "Ctrl" and "A" (aka; Ctrl + A ). While that Text is highlighted, to delete you can then hit the "Delete" key or Right-Click and choose "Cut".

So I am not understanding what you are doing and what the problem is. What I think you are doing is censoring some of the Forwarded content but you are doing it in an odd fashion that is not working the way it normally does for you.

BTW: You should delete those two graphics now as they contain "sensitive" information that should be redacted before posting in a Public facing Forum.

I've deleted the screenshots. Please be careful not to publish people's personal information such as names and email addresses in a public forum. You can edit the screenshots in MS Paint and blackthem out first.

OK, the BTW part I understand.
The rest, I have no idea what you mean. I know how I used to delete "useless" information in a forwarded email. For some reason, this has changed probably due to the fact that M.S. is discontinuing WLM 2012. I will continue to struggle with it as long as I can. Switching email programs is not something I'm prepared to do at this time. Thanks: Dave :)

No. The ability to edit, redact or modify a forwarded email in Windows Live Mail subsequent to it reaching End of Life ( EOL ) has not changed. EoL only means Windows Live Mail can't be installed on a new systems and there will be no updates pushed via Windows Updates. Windows Live Mail will continue to work on any system it has already been installed on.

What I indicated in Post #8 were ways to highlight text that you felt were extraneous and wanted to remove in a Forwarded email.

Maybe this will be helpful...

Thanks for that link, but I'm aware of those things. I still can't explain what my specific problem is.
I know how to start to highlight text at the "beginning" it's the "end" that I can't get to. As I move my curser toward the end of the text, it won't go to the end. It only goes to the "tool bar".

For readers of the thread...
I created videos demonstrating concepts. Due to the video's size and privacy concerns ( using Windows Live Mail on an active email account ) the assistance was provided via PM and hosting the videos on my web site.
