    Hi,
    Hope someone can help me.
I've got a Belkin router, and I've got one laptop connected to it with no problems.
I've bought another laptop & I can't connect to the router.
I've accessed the router online & got the Pre-shared Key (PSK) which I assume is the Network key that I'm being asked for, but it doesn't connect.
I don't get an error message, it just doesn't connect.
    Am I doing something wrong.
Please be gentle with me, computers really aren't my thing!
    Thank you so much.

I moved this to networking since you will probably get more help in that forum than the HW forum.

When having a problem like this it's always good to disable encryption on the router and try to connect. If successful you know it is an encryption issue, and usually you can re-enable encryption and reconnect OK.

Please attach a screen shot of the Networks page of the Xirrus Wi-Fi Inspector and show ...

Start, Run, CMD, OK to open a command prompt:
(For Vista or 7 type CMD in the Search box after Start)

    Type the following command:

    IPCONFIG /ALL

[Note that there is no space between the slash and ALL.]

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
Paste the results in a message here.

If necessary use a text file and removable media to copy the results to a computer with internet access.

Forgot to mention--make sure you are not locking yourself out with MAC Address filtering on the router.
