Hi,

I am trying to transfer VHS tapes to DVDs. I downloaded the Video via USB to my Hard drive. I have Sonic MyDVD 5.2 and I am trying to create scenes, so that I can skip through the DVD. It takes forever to do this and I don't know why?? If I pause the Video and click 'Mark Scene', it will take about 20 mins before the Video will start moving along again, so that I can mark the next scene. I have a 1.5 GHz processor, 512 Mb 2100 DDR RAM. Is it my hardware or is it the Sonic software?? Please let me know.

I think it's because you're working with an mpeg which is very slow. If you were to render it 1st to avi working with it would be much quicker.
