Earlier everything was fine but after hardware repair the problem exists.

i would be highly obliged if you help me with this problem.
Some videos nowadays are recorded in some format that WMP can't read. You will have to install another media player such as VLC, Realplayer etc to be able to watch this videos or may need to convert them by usining Handbrake, etc. I have been in that spot before.
First try downloading a codec pack for media player. You can find a lot fo free ones online. That should fix the problem. If not, I would recommend getting another video player such as divx player which is free and pretty good.
Could you please explain what you meant by hardware repair? Download the little app MediaInfo, it's free. After installation it ends up in your right click context menu for viewing the specifics of audio and video files. This will at least tell you what type of audio is giving you problems.
That seems to be your problem. You need to make a fresh install of your OS plus drivers. You cannot swap the hard disc drive and use the same OS because the drivers will change unless you are using an identical mother board as the old one.
AMD High Definition Audio Device.
Since there are no yellow !'s or red X's, it appears that the correct drivers are loaded.
When you download something right click it and select Open with and try VLC instead of Windows Media Player. Because the first post shows it is trying to use WMP.
I am not quite sure if it may help since he stated he changed motherboard on post #7 but has not mentioned if it was the same model number as the old one.
On a laptop it would be pretty hard to put a different one in, maybe a different revision.
