I honestly had a feeling sp2 would come with a bang load of problems as with any new piece of software release but wanted to give it a try. Now here is my dilemma, after downloading sp2 and it tries to install an error comes up saying it "could not read or write to my database" I have no idea what could be causing this, I disabled nav2004 and za pro and did a thorough sweep for spyware and ad-ware prior using spybot and ad-ware6 although I could not get rid of a particular spy-ware from download accelerator because it said it was being use by my memory, I have tried three times now and the same bloody thing keeps coming up. Any help will be appreciated. And by the way I am running xp pro.

Can you confirm that is the exact error message, word for word?
