Ok, this is my first post here, Im Portuguese and my inglish may not be the best :p
This is my problem, I got Windows XP and when I install old games, like Baldurs Gate 2, Lion Heart, IceWind Dale 2 and today The Sims 1 (with the House party expansion) my screen gives me a big problem, as soon as I start the game this horizontal stripes, red and green, start blinking in the all screen.
In the case of IceWind and BG2 all I had to do was playing with the game windowed, but I dont think I can with Sims1

What I ask is, can someone explain what is this screen problem and how can I fixed it? Or if you can tell me how to play the game in window mode thats fine by me.

Maybe you need to update your graphics drivers.

Run dxdiag.exe and save it and post result here to see what spec. PC you have?
