Hi Michael Lawrence, follow Mulder advice for uninstalling download accelerator, but most of them programs are full of spyware,so you might want to think about not re-installing it.Of course thats up to you.You should also check for other spyware on your computer using Ad-aware5.6.Its a free program that checks your computer for any spyware you might have. Some of these spyware programs are real nasty and act like a trojan and can cause you alot of problems. Also check your startup folder for Newdotnet, webhancer, save now, gator,or anything that looks suspicious.Should you find anything like this let us know because some of them take some extra care in removeing. Here the link for Ad-aware.

Hi Michael, I would strongly recommend dumping download accelerator , it does have spyware.
Try" Fresh Download", it is a similar program that is banner and spyware free. It d/ls from multiple sources, resumes broken d/ls and keeps a history log as well, you can get it here: http://www.freshdevices.com/ ...Rhett PS - Oh yeah..IT'S FREE !
