    Hello!
Obviously, I have accidentally changed a very important setting for my files and folders, and I don't know how to change it back. I've gone into folder settings a million times, and I just don't get it.
    Here's the symptoms:
I have several folders on my desktop. One for school stuff, one for music, one for photos, etc. So every time that I double click to open ANY of those folders, the window that opens is a very small window that has "Search Results" in the address bar instead of "C:\Documents and Settings\HP_Administrator\Desktop\Photos" or whatever. In the address bar of the folder, however, I can click the down arrow at the far right and it gives me all my folders right there, all I have to do is select the one I want and all my files from that folder come up. My files aren't gone - it just makes me search for them first.
Why all the extra work? Why won't my folders just open up with my files in them?
Please help - this is getting to be pretty annoying.

    Try the following:

Click Start, Run and type or cut and past in this command:

    regsvr32 /i shell32.dll

If that is of no help, refer to this article.
