I have a referb sony vaio pcg-61511m laptop, running win7 pro. It lets me install games but every time I try and play them I have the following message

Sorry there is not enough memory to continue.
Please make sure that you have at least 50mb free on your hard drive
and that virtual memory is not disabled.

There is a 500gb hardrive in here and only 54.7gb has been used.
    Also virtual memory is disabled.

I have attempted to install Halo, the sims1+4 , rome total war 1+2 assassins creed 2 and a few others.
The sims and rome total war work fine on my pc but not on here.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

My friend had similar problem with dota2. In his case problem was google chrome because it uses a lot of memory and he had multiple tabs opened that caused BSOD. Hope this helps you

I'm guessing you have one of these laptops:

    Sony VAIO PCG-61511M (VPCEE3Z0E)

    Sony VAIO PCG-61511M (VPCEE2S1E)

Both of them support up to 8 GB(4 GB X 2) of DDR3 RAM.

I'm guessing yours doesn't have enough RAM, so virtual memory on the hard drive is trying to be accessed.

Two bits I have highlighted in your post, is the 2nd line a typo?

If not, the first thing you should do is enable Virtual Memory in line with what the error message is telling you and see if that resolves the problem.
