When I check my GForce 2MX card in "Microsoft System Information", a number of drivers are NOT INSTALLED. This includes things such as keystone.exe, nvidianvaml.cat, HASTMAST.cbk and a few more.

I've installed the latest driver from nvidia as I thought it might help but it didn't.

My computer has never been any good at running games - even when it was new (4 years ago).

    Can anybody help? :(

When you say it's not good at running games, do you mean the games won't run at all, or that they're just really slow? The GeForce2 MX is a pretty slow card, and was even when it came out.

I have an geforce 2 mx 400 and had problems with the latest drivers. I am currently using nvidia version 4.13 and dont see any signs of video problems.
