I recently received my computer from my mother. I've rebuilt it once before, & had no problems . I took it all apart to clean out the disgusting dust, & put it back together the way it's supposed to be it turned on once but it would not register my monitor and then when I unplugged it included up again it started blinking, I've never had this problem before and cannot seem to find out what's wrong does anyone have any suggestions
It's my LED light on the back of my desktop. It's never done this before, and I used to for 2 years straight in the school program I was in took computers apart replaced motherboards and put them back together and had no problems but for some reason this one wants to give me problems because yes she is old but I've already rebuilt her once before plus I also need to upgrade her windows and I was almost there till she overheat it and now her lights blinking
You can try the steps in this video. I have no idea if they will work and, of course, you are doing this at your own risk.
If you move the switch from 115 to 220 make sure you put it back to 115 before switching the computer on !
That is really strange to put a hot air drier on the power supply, I noticed the lite didn't go out when he unplugged it. Maybe it has a thermistor heat sensor that is bad or the drier is turning the fan enough for a fan sensor to respond.
