I probably did not explain my problem sufficiently.
I have one outlook account "[email protected]" and one Gmail account "[email protected]".
Within my domain I redirect my mail from "[email protected]" to "[email protected]" and I have set my Gmail account up to show "[email protected]" as the sender and receiever addresses.
I want to do the same in Outlook and have the sending address and receiving address as "[email protected]" so that should I ever want to change providers I only have to change the switches within my domain.

I have just sent an email from outlook to myself with the from box showing the message as coming from "[email protected]" and if I look in the sent items foldaer this is the same. However in the inbox the message shows up as coming from "[email protected]" on behalf of "[email protected]". How can I stop outlook doing this permantly.
    uk"
Another problem it gives me for example is that I can not reply within Outlook to a message from an ebay user as Ebay has my email id as "[email protected]" but outlook is saying the message comes from "[email protected]" on behalf of.......

Is there any way I can set outlook up to show no mention of my provider.

I'm still using it because it works and I hate change. :D Besides, it's still in extended support until October 13, 2020 we we still have some time.
