Problems with SIms 4 Limited Edition

Hello, I bought my son Sims 4 Limited Edition the other day and when ever he tries to play it, it says "We are unable to connect to EA servers to activate The Sims 4 Limited Edition on this computer using your account. Please try again later."

My daughter uses the same origin account and was able to get the game to work on her laptop, but for some reason on my sons desk top it gives me the error. I contacted their customer support and they had me do a clean boot then told me that my ip address was static. When I check my IPv4 and 6 everything is set to auto. When I do ipconfig /all it says my DHCP is enabled.

hello again, I forgot to mention that my daughters laptop is wireless and connected through a built in card. My sons PC is also wireless, but is connected through a USB wireless adapter. I have also tried connecting the PC straight to the router with an ethernet cable and still get the same results I would appreciate any help.
