    Hi All,

Have just recently bought a new computer and have been dipping my toe into the world of audio file transfer. Found the files I wanted but know there seem to be more processes running in the Task Manager window than ever before!! I don't know which of these processes are crucial or even how to print off a list of these processes to show you! Having looked over the forum, I did see a query regarding what was included in the start-up menu and have used HijackThis to print off the following :

    Logfile of HijackThis v1.93.0
Scan saved at 23:10:38, on 25/04/2003
Platform: Windows XP SP1 (WinNT 5.01.2600)
    MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP1 (6.00.2800.1106)

I also downloaded SpyBot and ran that a couple of times but I am a bit suspicious of a lot of the things in Task Manager, what can I do???

    Thanks,

HI, Go to this site and have a read as he has itemized all the services in XP:-
    http://www.blackviper.com/

Someone will look at your list later on I don't now enough. You did not state what problem you have. If you do get a lot of spyware or a virus it does cause physical signs on your computer such as slow startup etc. You never mentioned any signs at all and you have tested to see if you have spy ware so why are you worried about it. Peace Mal
