    Hi,

I open task manager and processes. The Procesases shows me a slew of processes which I can stop, but I do not understand what they are. For example, PQV2isvc.exe. How do I find out what this, as well as other processes are?

    Thanks,
    Joe

the best way is to download process explorer from http://www.sysinternals.com/

when it is running, right click on any process in tye top bar & select properties, it will tell you all about the process

your PQV2isvc.exe is one of the powerquest drive imager bits
