Processor Fan Help

I have a AMD Athlon XP 2700+ Thoroughbred 333MHz FSB and a MSI K7N2 Delta-L Socket A (Socket 462) motherboard. I need to get a CPU fan for this. I have no idea which one I am using now but it has recently gotten pretty loud. My computer also feels very hot. I don't think it is over heating, but maybe its a bit hotter than it should be.

I don't know much about this stuff, so I was wondering if someone could recommend a CPU fan that would be good for my setup. I don't want to spend a lot of money (I have no idea what the prices of these things are), but I'm willing to pay a little more if it means I will be getting a quiet fan. Any ideas on fans that do a great job, and are pretty quiet? Thanks!

Well, I am interested, but what about the noise. That is my biggest concern. I want this thing to stay pretty quiet, because it is in my bedroom and it pisses me off when it keeps me up at night. :)

By the way, I see the it shows the noise levels of most of the CPU fans. The lower the number the quieter it is I take it? What noise level is considered pretty quiet? I see several that are around the 30-35 dBA range. Are those quiet, loud, or somewhere int he middle?

Yes lower is better. You might want to look into a fan with adjustable speeds, that way in the day you can play games and let the fans get loud, but at night turn the fan speed down.

My Main PC has the stock HSF, which I think is 28DbA, plus four 80mm case fans and three HDs plus the CD burner and DVD-rw. I have no complaints about the noise as long as the case is closed.

It looks like a good one. Has good reviews on newegg.com, so thats a good sign, plus comes with a 6 year warranty, thats longer then you will have that PC most likely.

Some Fans speeds can be controlled through the BIOS or a motherboard in GUI monitor, others can be adjusted by a switch.

This particular fan looks like it has a Dummy PCI panel switch, but it might be decoration, I can't find confirmation. As long as your motherboard supports adjustin fan speeds in windows you can do it that way.
