Hello everybody, i need some help with something. I currently have a Lenovo Thinkcentre M81 SFF with a Intel Core i3-2130 processor, and im trying to replace the processor with A Intel core i5-2500. The problem is that the i3 has a 65w TDP and the i5 has a 95w TDP and i dont want anything bad happening to my pc. I am unsure what the power supply is. I think it is a 250 watt power supply but im unsure. Thank you for anyone who can help me.

I think that i5-2500 will work, it's on this list of Cpus that are used in the M81 models :- https://support.lenovo.com/gb/en/solutions/pd008999

I would make sure you have the latest Bios before you fit the i5 Cpu.

I can't guarantee it will work though, it will depend on whether the power supply is good enough and on the Bios supporting that i5-2500 Cpu.
