Is it possible to upgrade to a Pentium III 700mhz or higher? I believe there is a voltage conflict, is a new motherboard needed, and if so...which motherboard supports the new processor?

The coppermine pentium's have different voltage and pinouts.
You would certainly need to upgrade the motherboard if it's older.
Check with the motherboard manufacturer for cpu's supported or bios updates.

Shouldn't be hard to find a motherboard that supports coppermine processors in the 700 mhz range.
