processor upgrade help

    i have bought a gateway lx6200-01 with AMD Phenom X4 9550(2.2GHz) but i had a AMD Phenom II X4 940 Deneb 3.0GHz Socket AM2+ 125W Quad-Core Black Edition Processor Model HDZ940XCGIBOX - Retail put into it and now vista is saying amd proccessor unknown model 3.0ghz, and the proccessor is suspto run at 3600mhz it says and under my current bios it has it at 3000mhz, what can i do to make it reconize the model of the prossor and run at the speeds it should Hyper Transports3600MHz in belarc advisor it says this for proccessor

    3.00 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64
    512 kilobyte primary memory cache
    2048 kilobyte secondary memory cache
    6144 kilobyte tertiary memory cache

    and this for main circuit board
    Board: Gateway RS780 Rev 1.0
    Serial Number: U005084500581
    Bus Clock: 200 megahertz
    BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. 87IP011G 08/06/2008

    any info on how to make it reconize the proccesor model or speeds it should run plz let me know thanks for takeing the time to look at this post

    Did you download the processor drivers from AMD?

    i didnt find any on their related to my proccessor
