    hey I got a question I just bought a processor and windows 8.1. Although I cant install it due to the processor I had I got a new one Intel Slgjm Pentium Processor T4300. I don't know if this processor is for a laptop or what because it has a smaller top. I need help. I don't know if I am supposed to take the top off and place another one in its place.

    You appear to have a very old MSI P4MAM-V or MSI P4MAM-L motherboard.

    They support the use of Intel Pentium IV processors and DDR RAM and are designed to run Windows XP.

    That Intel Pentium Dual Core T4300 2.10 GHz processor will not work in it

    Windows 8.1 also will not install and work in it.

    That T4300 Cpu is a Mobile type for use in laptops, it won't even fit in the socket of your motherboard.
