    Hi Guys, I am in the process of buying a new Pc, basically for general use, photo editing and playing the odd game or two.

    I just wanted to know what the main difference between AMD and Intel is, and is one a lot better than the other.

    AMD is less costly- AMD is is better for gaming.What are you planning on buying? There are other things to consider.

    Cheers for the input, I was looking at a Dell, i know lots of people dont like them, but i had no problem with my last one, and i am not up to building my own.
