Hello! How can I retrieve or get my MS Office 10 product key? I purchased a Dell desktop and a the MS Office 10 was part of the package but the product key wasn't in the box so I had to wait another two weeks before Dell would send it out but I have either missed placed it or Dell never sent it because the install of MS Office 10 was on November 29, 2012 but has never been activated.

if it was the full version, then the key coa would be on your case. if it is currently installed but not activated, you may be able to recover the key using magical jelly bean

It didn't come in a case it was just the product key code in an envelope.

Call Microsoft. They can activate over the phone for free. If the key is not legit they can also tell you why.

    thanks,

if that was the only key that showed up when you ran jellybean, then your key is no longer available. If you no longer have a copy of the key nor if it is on your computer, I don't think there is anything you can do.

What version do you really have?
Version 10 is a lot older than one thinks.

You may be saying 10 when you should be saying 2010 which is version 14

I'm pretty sure they mean 2010 since users don't generally use those terms when quoting versions but I may be wrong.

However, if it was never activated then the key is not in the system. I think you'll have to call Dell and try to get another key from them.
