i never heard of a program like that. if you find one let me know. because the only way i know how to turn the PC on is by pushing the on button. an click on start/ turn off computer. to turn it off.

You can get software to shutdown, hibernate/standby or restart a PC to a schedule, but not to start a PC that has been shutdown.

Why don't you describe the environment, and what you're trying to do.

For instance, you can use WOL (Wake On LAN) to remotely start a computer, and there are any number of ways to turn off a system pragmatically. Some systems also have a BIOS feature to wake them at a set time.

Turning them off is easy, it's turning them on that's sometimes tricky. :)
