    Hey,

I think filemaker pro run time used to open the program .

Contact the tech support of Focus. They should be able to help.

I've contacted the support team at focus but they said that something is preventing the program from opening and I need to get an IT person to have a look at it. They said they can't help.

Does the Focus program have a log file of some kind ? Usually log files are text, and you can read it.

I don't know what 'uac virtualization' is but I know what 'uac' is. Go to Control Panel > User Accounts > Change User Account Control Settings and move the slider to the top to enable it.

Also I just tested File Explorer and your auto-scroll problem. ( Windows 10 Pro v1809) I have it in Details View, and I scrolled down the list of files and high lighted one file. Left the system alone for 10 mins. And the high light did not change nor scroll to the top. Something is refreshing File Explorer in your system and the folder is being re-read as if you just opened it. Check for IE plug-in's and remove if any exits to test.
