I have a program that says I need Internet Explorer 6 or better on the computer so it will install.

I have no access to the internet or really do not need access to the internet with this computer. Is there anyway I can get Internet Exploer 6 on it from somewhere other than downloading from the internet?

Thanks, :)

Use those instructions on a computer with internet access to download IE6. Then burn it to CD and install on the target 2000 machine.

An alternative is to pick up an AOL CD in a grocery store or somewhere. There is IE6 in a folder on that CD if you cancel the AOL setup. Install from there. After installation, to remove "branding" (the AOL logos, etc.), go to Start > Run, and type:

rundll32.exe iedkcs32.dll,Clear

Click OK.
