Hi All, A friend of mine told me about 2 programs which would let me shorten a long URL so that it would easier to share it with someone else via e-mail , telephone etc. They were Quer and Shortlink. I had no problem with Shortlink, below is the URL for a map of where I live and beneath it the link after shortening.
However I can't get Quer to work. Any ideas on why? http://fury.com Quer is the third entry in the box on the left. thanks. schnaz

This is what someone wrote in the Comments:

This is exactly what I got. I wonder if others have the same problem?

Same thing happening here, its a problem with the Qwer site that you can't do anything about. They have probably already been notfied of the problem.

Hey guys, Kevin here. I run Fury and QWER. The simple version is that QWER was built on some funky assumptions about my ISP's Apached configuration and when they changed things it broke for some browsers.

I'm moving qwer to a completely database-driven back end and will be up and running better than ever around March 10th. If it's still in your minds then, I encourage you to check it out. If you read http://fury.com then I'll be letting folks know there when it's working. Fury also has an rss feed (link is on the site) if you use RSS for easier blog browsing.

    Thanks for the interest!
