So I've heard about a backdoor Trojan called Prorat.
Now I had some questions about this software:

    Is it legal?
Is it safe to download it?
If it's so easy for someone to create a trojan, why don't antiviruses pick these up?

Thanks, anyone, who answers these for me.

Why would you want to intentionally download a trojan?

Why do you say they don't get picked up? Some will and some won't depending on how recent they are and what methods they use to infiltrate.

No this is apparently a software that lets you create and control trojans.
I found this highly interesting, and I'd love to learn how to work with such software (no malicious intent, just for the sake of knowledge) and all that.
So I was wondering if I could do so safely with this software.

It is a Remote Adminstration Tool (hence "RAT") used to infiltrate systems for malicious purposes (hence "trojan").

We do not provide assistance or advice for malicious software other than to remove it when people are infected.
