I bought a Manhattan True-Touch Roll up keyboard. It came with a PS/2 connection, so I also bought a ps/2 to USB converter. When I plug it into my computer I get a windows error saying that the device has not been recognised. It seems as though the drivers aren't installed for it. But I don't have the CDs or anything. The person I bought it from says that I should not need any additional software for it. What should I do?

    I have a windows XP home SP2.

It is a laptop so no ps/2 ports.

I'm afraid you may be out of luck as those converters don't generally work very well unless the keyboard or mouse was manufactured to go either way. You might look in the bios though to be certain there is no silliness like disabled usb mouse or keyboard or legacy devices.
