Hello. I've recently bought a PS/2 to USB adapter.
But it doesn't work.

I've been searching on internet and i found that i need something else.
The questions that i want to ask:

Why this cheap piece of garbage doesn't work? - Solved.
How do i manage to get it to work (Windows 8.1/Windows 7/ Windows XP) (1 PC, 1 laptop and another PC) - Solved.
That piece of garbage ..... what it used for? (You insert the PS/2 to the converter and then the USB end port to the computer)

Please help me!

I have some of those type of thing.
Some work well, some only work with a keyboard and some only with a mouse.

If you really want to adapt ps2 to usb as your title suggests, you purchased the wrong part. The one you purchased is usb to ps2 rather than ps2 to usb. This is what you need;

FWIW I would just purchase the correct keyboard and mouse rather than keep trying to use old parts. Up to you what you want to do.
Thanks. Another question :

That is used to connect a usb mouse to a ps2 connector on the mb. That way a mfg can make just usb mouse and it will work on either an old system using just ps2 or a newer system using usb. I must have 50 of those connectors sitting around here in the "parts closet"

Again it really would be better to purchase the correct parts. When you use an adapter for anything, you induce an extra problem or issue into any task.
