Hey,
I have an online adapter that came in a combo pack.
the person that got it isn't using it, so I put it on mine.
but it always locks up my PS2.
I am guessing this is some type of security thing. Does anyone know how to get around it??

Thanx

That's interesting. I don't think it's a security thing because the adapters are not assigned to specific PS2s. You might want to ask SONY if your PS2 is faulty. 1-800-345-SONY

Did you run the Isp-setup CD that comes with the adapter? You need to do that first in order to use the adapter on games. It saves a file on your memory card that shows your internet settings.
